Jeffrey R. Gunter

Dr. Jeffrey Ross Gunter was nominated by President Donald Trump in 2018 to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Iceland from 2019-2021. During his tenure, Ambassador Jeffrey Ross Gunter accomplished several achievements and made a strong relationship even stronger between the two allied countries. Ambassador Jeffrey Ross Gunter is continuing the fight for freedom and serving the United States of America and the people.

As Chairman of the Ambassadors of Dermatology, Dr. Jeffrey Ross Gunter co-founded, with support from the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine, a stem cell education program providing research and educational opportunities to underserved and economically disadvantaged students. With over 38 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Jeffrey Ross Gunter has more experience with Mohs Surgery, Skin Cancer Excision, Chronic Skin Conditions, and Cosmetic Skin Procedures than other specialists in his area.

Dr. Jeffrey Ross Gunter attended the University of California at Berkeley in 1983, receiving his A.B. in Psychology. Continuing his education and passion for healthcare, Ambassador Jeffrey Ross Gunter attended the Keck School of Medicine at USC in 1987, where he served as Clinical Professor of Medicine and Chief Resident of Dermatology, graduating with honors in his clinical years and receiving his M.D. degree.
