International Missions

The Council sponsors an international mission program to conduct on-the-spot investigations of national and/or regional conditions. Planned in consultation with the host country government and the U.S. Embassies and the country desk officers of the State Department, these visits provide an in-depth perspective in areas of particular interest.

Missions are financed by the individual participants and may include spouses and a rapporteur. The delegation presents its findings in a report that is published in The Ambassadors REVIEW.
