Luncheon and Book Signing with William Seale

The Council of American Ambassadors hosted a luncheon and book signing with Mr. William Seal, author of "The Imperial Season: America's Capital in the Time of the First Ambassadors, 1893-1918," on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. The event was held at the DACOR Bacon House.

Following introductions by General D. Timothy White and Ambassador Timothy A Chorba, Mr. William Seale gave a fascinating account of Washington in the time of the Imperial Season.  Questions from Ambassadors Timothy A. Chorba, Selwa Roosevelt, Raymond C. Ewing, Thomas L. Siebert and G. Philip Hughes greatly enhanced the conversation.
